JCB Rubber Tracks: Why 49 and 50 Links Matter When Ordering

Two JCB tracks can share a 320 mm width and 86 mm pitch while differing in link count. IPX lists a 150TR AC-lug example at 320 × 86 × 49 and 180T, 190T and 205T examples at 320 × 86 × 50. That final number deserves its own check on the order.

Shop JCB rubber tracks or use the examples below to prepare your replacement-track enquiry.

Keep the model letters and the link count together

Do not treat 150TR and 180T as interchangeable search terms, and do not round a track size down to 320 × 86. Photograph the complete track marking and retain every letter in the machine designation. The examples below show that one omitted number can hide an important difference between listings.

These selected JCB listings use AC tread. That does not mean any AC track is suitable for the machine: the label identifies the listed pattern, while the complete dimensions and internal configuration still determine the fitment check. If a supplier suggests an alternative, ask for the exact application and specification in writing.

These are selected aftermarket listings, not a complete fitment chart or a guarantee of current stock. Dimensions are shown as width in millimeters × pitch in millimeters × link count. Open the product page for the current specification and availability.

Confirm the track before comparing tread

Match the complete model and serial identification, track width, pitch, link count and internal guide configuration. If the marking is worn, use our rubber track measurement guide to gather the details for a fitment enquiry. Do not infer compatibility from a matching width or an exterior photograph alone.

Once fitment is established, compare the listed tread choices against your usual surfaces and tasks. Our AC, B, C, N and Z pattern guide explains the options. A pattern shown for one model is not a promise that the same option is available for every JCB machine.

Plan the replacement order

The selected products are listed individually. Specify one track or a quantity of two for a pair, and confirm availability before scheduling downtime. Include the product link, machine identification and a photograph of the existing track marking in your enquiry.

For a damaged or unevenly worn track, arrange an inspection of the surrounding undercarriage before fitting the replacement. Read when to replace rubber tracks for the warning signs to discuss. Use the exact machine’s service instructions for installation and tension settings.

Frequently asked questions

Can a 49-link JCB track replace a 50-link track?

Do not substitute one for the other on the basis of matching width and pitch. Confirm the required complete track specification for the exact machine.

Are these original JCB tracks?

These IPX listings are aftermarket replacements. Machine names identify the listed applications; they do not imply that the tracks are manufactured or endorsed by JCB.
