Bobcat Rubber Tracks: Comparing T-Series Sizes and Tread Options

A Bobcat track order starts with the full T-series model, but the useful comparison is between actual track specifications. IPX’s listings show why: the T770 example below uses 55 links, while the T870 examples use 60. Both are listed at 450 mm wide with an 86 mm pitch. Matching only the width would miss that difference.

Separate model choice from tread choice

Use the T770 and T870 examples as two separate purchasing decisions. First establish which specification belongs on your machine. Then compare the tread options offered for that exact application. A B-lug T870 listing is not an alternative for a T770 simply because both titles contain 450 mm.

For a fleet with several Bobcat models, keep the machine number beside each track quotation. Record the full model, serial number, existing track marking and quantity on the same order line. This makes it easier to catch a 55-link versus 60-link mix-up before delivery.

These are selected aftermarket listings, not a complete fitment chart or a guarantee of current stock. Dimensions are shown as width in millimeters × pitch in millimeters × link count. Open the product page for the current specification and availability.

Confirm the track before comparing tread

Match the complete model and serial identification, track width, pitch, link count and internal guide configuration. If the marking is worn, use our rubber track measurement guide to gather the details for a fitment enquiry. Do not infer compatibility from a matching width or an exterior photograph alone.

Once fitment is established, compare the listed tread choices against your usual surfaces and tasks. Our AC, B, C, N and Z pattern guide explains the options. A pattern shown for one model is not a promise that the same option is available for every Bobcat machine.

Plan the replacement order

The selected products are listed individually. Specify one track or a quantity of two for a pair, and confirm availability before scheduling downtime. Include the product link, machine identification and a photograph of the existing track marking in your enquiry.

For a damaged or unevenly worn track, arrange an inspection of the surrounding undercarriage before fitting the replacement. Read when to replace rubber tracks for the warning signs to discuss. Use the exact machine’s service instructions for installation and tension settings.

Frequently asked questions

Does every 450 mm Bobcat track use the same link count?

No. The IPX examples here include 450 × 86 × 55 and 450 × 86 × 60. Match the complete specification and approved application.

Are these original Bobcat tracks?

These IPX listings are aftermarket replacements. Machine names identify the listed applications; they do not imply that the tracks are manufactured or endorsed by Bobcat.
